Exploring the World of the Bible -23-25 August 2016

How to get more out of our reading of the Scriptures  

Join us for Exploring the World of the Bible –  to be held at Booth College of Mission from 23-25 August 2016.

This course is for anyone who belongs to a Salvation Army corps or centre – you might be a small group leader, in-training youth leader, regular or occasional preacher, or someone who wants to get more out of their Bible reading.

The course includes:

  • Learning to recognise different genres of Scripture
  • How to cross the gaps between Bible times and ours
  • Researching the background to the writing of Bible books
  • Aspects of life in Old Testament and New Testament times that will enhance your Bible reading.

All applications must be completed in full, including appropriate Finance One Codes. They must also be signed off by the delegate’s Line Managers and should be sent to BCM before the 31 July 2016.
