Change to the CLD Travel Policy

Recently we undertook a review of our travel costs at CLD which has led to us making some amendments to our CLD Travel Policy. We want to ensure that we’re doing our best to manage our resources wisely and so have decided to implement maximum reimbursement limits for travel from around the country.

The new limits (for both arrival and return flights) are:

  • $300 for flights from Auckland, Christchurch and Nelson
  • $400 for flights from Hamilton, Dunedin and Invercargill
  • $600 for flights from any other centre

We understand that flights at various times can be more expensive than others, and so if you genuinely cannot find a flight within these limits, let us know, and we will give you approval to book and reimburse you for the cheapest flight available.

If you intend to drive to the course, you should first seek approval from us for this. Reimbursement of mileage will be repaid following the completion of the course as per the official minute and up to a maximum of 500 kms.

You can read the full policy below.

If you have any questions or want to discuss this further, you can contact us by email or on 04 528 8628.
