Thought Matters, 2014 – Call for Papers

Please see below a message from the Tri-Territorial Theological Forum regarding this years conference in Auckland.

Greetings all,
The Tri-Territorial Theological Forum (TTTF) is very pleased to advise that our territorial leader have approved the following theme for the 2014 Thought Matters Conference:
“Honour God With Your Body: A Christian View of Human Sexuality”
This is an important topic for The Salvation Army, and the wider Church, and we are grateful to our territorial leaders for allowing this conversation to take place in an open forum.
This year’s conference will be held in Auckland (venue and registration details will be confirmed shortly) on 29-31 August 2014. You are not only welcome to attend this conference (lock it in your diary now) you are also invited to consider submitting a paper to be included in the conference programme.
Accordingly, please find attached a Call for Papers outlining the process for submitting your ideas to the TTTF for consideration.

Please note the list of possible topics provided is simply a starter. Feel free to offer a paper that contributes to exploration of the theme from another angle. Please also note, Thought Matters conferences are expected to be cost neutral. We are not able to subsidise registration or travel costs for those whose papers are accepted for the conference programme.
If you would like to receive further information about Thought Matters please reply to Thought_Matters@nzf.salvationarmy.org and ask to be added to our mailing list.
Thank you.
