Everyday Holy Living
The Salvation Army Soldiers Covenant is not a contract – it is a life commitment. To achieve our mission we need soldiers who are living by God’s values in every area of their lives. At the Brengle Holiness Institute you will explore how the Soldiers Covenant can be lived out in terms of practical, every day holiness. Through times of sharing, teaching, prayer and working together with delegates and staff you will explore holy living from Biblical, historical and practical perspectives. Starting on the evening of Friday 30 May, and concluding with a covenant service on Monday 2 June (Queens Birthday), the Brengle Holiness Institute has proven to be a significant spiritual milestone for many. Previous delegates have said:
“Life changing. Essential for any Christian who wants to fully obey God and serve. Sets your spiritual walk with Jesus on the right track. Superb staff.”
“A transforming, renewing and healing time of refreshment and inspiration. Encouragement to be all we can be for Jesus. A transforming understanding of ‘The Family of God’ and what it means to be adopted into the core of the Triune God.”
“An incredible course, with the most amazing lectures. If you want a new relationship with God this is the place. Go for it. I didn’t want to leave the place.”
All applications must be completed in full, including appropriate Finance One Codes and be signed off by the delegate’s Line Managers. Your fully completed registration form for this course, should be sent to BCM before the 30 April 2014. Please note that the material for the weekend is based upon the soldiers covenant, however registrations from adherents and other members of the Salvation Army will be considered with a Corps Officers endorsement.
