Thought Matters Conference – 25-27 October – Melbourne

Thought Matters Advert

Perfect Love: Imperfect People
Holiness in Leadership and Church

We are very excited to release the registration information and scholarship offer for the 2013 “Thought Matters” conference, run by the Salvation Army Tri-Territorial Theological Forum. This is an open conference which explores theological questions from a Salvation Army perspective.

This year the theme explores how our theological basis as a holiness movement can impact and transform our leadership practice and structures for mission and ministry. There is an excellent range of speakers, including a number of representatives from the New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga territory.

Registration, including meals and accommodation, is from AU$200 which makes this excellent value for money. Scholarships to contribute to registration and travel for soldiers and adherent members are also available (see attached info). Employees and officers who wish to attend should discuss this with their Line Manager and follow the normal protocols for travel and conference attendance.

After a successful launch in 2012, we are also running an Essay and Art Competition, with prize money of AU$250 for the winner. Details are included in the registration information. It is not necessary to travel to Melbourne to enter the Essay and Art Competition.

For more information or with any questions feel free to contact one of the NZFT representatives on the “Thought Matters” team – Garth Stevenson, Coralie Bridle or Caroline Jewkes – or check our website or facebook page for information and updates.

We hope you will join us for “Thought Matters” 2013.
