Wellington Theological Consortium Seminar – Saturday 10th August

On Saturday 10th August the Wellington Theological Seminar will be holding a One-Day Seminar – “Faith & Secularity” – at the Mercy Conference Centre, Wellington. Tickets range from $15-$40.

Speakers include:

  • Dr Chris Duthie-Jung “Was Bette Midler right? is faith amid secularity necessarily ‘from a distance’?”
  • Caroline Jewkes “Monday to Sunday: being God’s fellow workers seven days a week”
  • Rev Jenny Chalmers “Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea: the print media commentates religion”
  • Rev Deborah Broome & Br Kieran Fenn “Job / Jeremiah: faith in the face of misfortune”
