Update – Unfortunately this course is now full, however we will be running the course again in Dunedin from 28-3o August. Contact us now for more info, or visit our website for a brochure and registration form.
It is a very popular course – usually booked out by DHQ teams for selected personnel – but for 2013 we are able to offer a limited number of places to all Salvationists.
It is Speaker 3.0 with Rob Harley and Richard Nauck to be held at BCM on 19-21 June 2013.
Speaker 3.0 is an intensive three-day programme that teaches you to harness all aspects of the communication process. Particularly useful for those involved in preaching (soldiers, youth workers, officers, …), it will also be of benefit for anyone who wants to improve their abilities to influence, motivate and mobilise their audience. The course has a practical focus, incorporating workshops, personal coaching and world-class teaching from two acknowledged experts in the field. And all of this for only $350 (excl GST) including course fee, travel reimbursement (as per CLD travel policy), meals and accommodation.
Rob and Richard have recently been in Australia and the UK working with various TSA groups. Richard reports that a recent course with senior leaders (DC and above) in the UK was a great success so this is a great opportunity for those who have been preaching for many years but would value some refreshment or skill development, as well as those who are relatively inexperienced and want to start well. The key factor in the success of the experience for people is their willingness to engage and develop through this experience. We would encourage you to think about lay people, including your youth leaders, as well as officers.
There will also be a course offered in the Southern Division on 29-30 August 2013. If you are from the Southern Division and interested in attending, please contact Major Lorraine LePine to discuss this.
While usually for BCM courses accommodation is not included in the course price, as a special offer for Speaker 3.0 only we are including accommodation on this occassion. As the course is intense and requires evening work, we will be expecting all delegates to be resident at BCM throughout.
This is an update of the material presented in Preacher’s Boot Camp or Speaker 2.0. If you have attended one of these, the content will be very similar.
Registrations are open until 22 May or until all places are filled
